A New Way to Experience WSI Weather in the Cockpit
In an effort to simplify and streamline the WSI InFlight software experience, the WSI InFlight user interface has been completely redesigned. All functionality is now available within a single window featuring standard controls for zooming and panning and a more elegant handling of looping functionality. Controls for displaying weather information types have been simplified and grouped into seven categories. Time and altitude ‘sliders’ are now available allowing users to easily select past, present and forecasted conditions at various altitudes. WSI is continually working to improve and optimize our products and WSI InFlight 4.0 will support all future product additions. |

Cloud Tops: Satellite infrared imagery: Available at eight altitudes showing cloud cover at and above the selected altitude. |

Surface Analysis (Frontal boundaries): Depicts the major synoptic weather features – pressure systems and fronts. |

Icing: Depicts areas of probable icing and its severity at fifteen altitudes up to FL240. The product also highlights areas of supercooled large drop (SLD) icing.

WSI InFlight 4.0 software activation is a one time fee of $595. Current InFlight customers with an active subscription are eligible for special pricing.
The WSI Premium Package: WSI is now offering a new subscription package in order to take full advantage of all of the features of WSI InFlight 4.0. The WSI Premium package contains all of the weather information available on the WSI InFlight broadcast including WSI PIREPs and Icing for one low fee.
