WSI WeatherAlert
WSI WeatherAlert is an innovative decision support tool that provides a complete and comprehensive graphic visualisation of terminal weather from a desktop. The ability to proactively anticipate weather related problems enables improved profitability through greater staff productivity, improved on time performance, fewer delays and cancellations and lower communication costs. Customised to suit individual client needs, WSI WeatherAlert maximises operational reliability and punctuality by defining and displaying only the airports that impact a client’s operation. Colour-coded alert thresholds for wind, ceiling, visibility and runway visual range (RVR) may also be defined for each airport. The dynamically updated display is ideal for trend analysis and providing early warning of deteriorating or improving weather conditions at a glance, enabling operations staff to avoid delays and seek alternative routes or aircraft.
