MNG Airlines Signs Up for WSI WeatherAlert
Birmingham, UK, 15th June, 2006 — WSI (Weather Services International) today announced that Turkish carrier MNG Airlines is the newest customer of decision support tool WSI WeatherAlert. WSI and MNG Airlines have finalised a 3 year agreement covering the graphic visualisation and alerting of terminal weather for all relevant airports on MNG Airlines network.

WSI WeatherAlert is an innovative decision support tool that provides a complete and comprehensive graphic visualisation of terminal weather from a desktop. The ability to proactively anticipate weather related problems enables improved profitability through greater staff productivity, improved on time performance, fewer delays and cancellations and lower communication costs. MNG Airlines, established in February 1996, initially began to provide scheduled cargo services
in November 1997 to Hahn (Germany) and Stansted (United Kingdom) with a mid range Airbus
A300 freighter. Today, MNG Airlines continues its cargo operations with 8 Airbus A300 - B4
and 8 F-27 freighter aircraft.
